Simulation games for your organisation

Simulation games are among the most effective teaching methods to be used in organisations. They cover a wide spectrum of qualification requirements in professional expertise, method competence and interpersonal skills.

We are happy to support your organisation in employing the full potential of the simulation game method for your qualification requirements. You can count on our many years of experience in developing simulation games and their integration into existing personnel development programmes.

Showcase: VerSimBi – Insurance simulation for apprentices

One of our most successful development projects is the VerSimBi simulation game – an insurance simulation for apprentices in the insurance industry.

VerSimBi

In the VerSimBi simulation game apprentices develop an understanding of decision-making processes in an insurance company. They learn about the interactions of head office functions and field staff and experience the consequences their decisions have on various corporate divisions and activities.

Applying already acquired theoretical and practical know-how and in a hands-on environment, apprentices find out contexts and discover problem areas in business management.

Medium: Computer-assisted simulation game
Playing time: 1 – 2 days
Complexity: low – medium
Participants: 10 – 20 players

VerSimBi was developed in a joint project of BWV (The German Insurance Association for Vocational Education and Training) and selected regional partners. riva was responsible for project coordination and implementation.
